A city of vast boulevards and open spaces, grand statements and quaint backstreets. Tourists and locals mix on their way to and from their next stop on the streets of artists, shopkeepers and entertainers. Police sirens scream, close or distant, with resolute regularity. A city that loves to play, loves to create, loves to love, is now tangibly fraught with an effervescence of tension. This photograph was taken early evening on 20th April 2017.
